All scripture is inspired by God and since God by His very nature cannot lie; the Bible is completely true.

  • God exists and there is only one true God.
  • This one True God exists in three: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
  • Jesus Christ, as described in the Bible, existed in history. He took the guilt of sinners upon Himself and endured God's judgment for their sin. He redeems them by His blood.
  • A person is saved by turning from his/her sins and by having faith
    in the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no salvation apart from Christ.

Children's Sunday School

 Sundays at 9:45 a.m.

  • All classes meet in Currie Hall.
  • Four Year Olds and Five Years Old combined, Room 204. The teachers are Four Year Olds, Matthew & Bonny Boyd. Five Year Olds, Room 203, Lee & Donna Rouse
  • 1st Grade teachers are Greg & Claudia Powell. Room 107
  • 2nd Grade teachers are Natalie Wiggins & Allison Rester, Room 108
  • 3rd Grade and 4th Grade combined, Room 202. The teachers are Bert & Leigh Kuyrkendall.
  • 5th Grade and 6th Grace teacher is Marianne Voorbrood, Room 201

Wednesday Nights

Wednesday nights at 6:15 p.m. following Family Night Supper

Children's Choirs

Children's choirs for ages 2 through 6th grade meet each Wednesday evening. Younger children explore music through movement, rhythm instruments and voice, while elementary students learn musical notation, proper vocal techniques and what it means to sing "to the glory of God!"

Catechism Club

Children are grouped according to age and are assigned to the same rooms they are on Sunday mornings.

Educational Opportunities

Educational Opportunities for children ages 4 years through 6th grade are as follows:

  • Sunday School using Great Commission & Publications.
  • Wednesday Night Catechism Club - Biblically based studies which include flannel board visuals, scripture, and catechism memorization.
  • Children's Church for children ages 4 and 5 years which includes learning the Doxology, Affirmation of Faith, and the Lord's Prayer. Each week the children have a Bible story followed by work on catechism memorization.
  • Annual Christmas Project for ages 4 years through 6th grade includes outreach to shut-ins, caroling at a local retirement or nursing home, collecting food for individuals in our community in need, or collecting money for Missions.
  • Vacation Bible School for children ages 4 years through 6th grade, usually the first week in June.
  • Summer Activities include parties, a service project, a trip to a theme park, zoo, or a ball game for ages 5 years to 6th grade, concluding with our Back to School Night in the fall.
