College Ministry (RUF)

What is RUF?

Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) is the campus ministry of the Presbyterian Church in America. Although we are a part of the PCA, we welcome students from all backgrounds and walks of life. Our goal is not to draw students into our denomination but to draw them to Christ through the Scriptures, and then direct them to a local church that has a high view of the Word of God.

Our Purpose

RUF is committed to reaching students for Christ and equipping them to serve on the campus. These goals are met by teaching students the Scriptures of the old and new testament, which reveal who God is and how we are to live in His world. RUF is dedicated to studying the Scripture and living by it. We do not do it perfectly, but we do it persistently by going back to the Bible for instruction, encouragement, and hope. In our studies, we do our best to steer away from things that merely "sound" or "seem" Christian, and look to apply the truth of the Word of God to the whole person (mind, will, and emotions). In doing this, we hope to address four main areas of life: Growth in Grace; Fellowship and Service; Evangelism and Missions; and Biblical World and Life View.

The RUF minister and his wife are Ben and Marianna Shaw.
