     WIC Night Circle,Our year in the Sermon on the Mount will begin on Monday, Sept. 13. at 6:30. For our first meeting, we will begin covering the Beatitudes (Ch. 1 of the book). Start by reading Matthew 5-7 and Luke 6. If you like to listen, use ESV.org to find the passage and click the "listen" button for it to be read out loud. 2nd Annual Church-Wide Hope for Hattiesburg Week Monday, October 4th - Friday, October 8th   The week of October 4-8, has been designated by the Hope For Hattiesburg Committee, as a ministry opportunity for our whole church.  The home of Annie Richardson, a widow, is in serious need of repair.  In James 1:27, the church is commanded by God to look after orphans and widows in their distress, and Annie is in distress.  If you can spare one day, one morning, or one hour, then participate in this mercy ministry outreach.  We will need people to paint trim and siding;...

Church Photo Sign-Up

    It's time for a new church directory! All FPC members need to sign up to reserve their photo session time.  Sign up sheets will be located in the Fellowship Hall on Wednesday nights and in the Narthex on Sunday morning and evenings throughout the month of September.  If you prefer, you may sign up online at www.signup.olanmills.com.  Photo sessions will be 15-20 minutes long.  There is no charge to have your picture taken, and you will receive a free directory and 8x10 for participating.  Olan Mills will only be here October 5th-16th to take pictures, so book your session...

Ladies Bible Study

  The Ladies Friday Bible Study is moving to WEDNESDAYS this fall! We will be meeting on Wednesday mornings beginning on September 15th from 9:00 until 10:00 in one of the rooms near the Fellowship Hall.  We will be reading through A Praying Life:  Connecting with God in a Distracting World by Paul Miller.  Our schedule will be very simple.  We will be praying during the first 30 minutes and reading through a chapter of the book together, discussing as we read for the second 30 minutes. There will be no homework involved.  If you will need child care, please call or...
