Senior Adult Ministry

Senior Adult Mission Statement

The Senior Adults of First Presbyterian Church are aware of the increasing number of senior citizens in Forrest and Lamar Counties and surrounding communicates. We also recognize that many of our fellow senior citizens do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

It is our desire to develop programs, outreach ministries and other avenues of service to reach unchurched individuals as well as to nurture and encourage fellow senior believers in Christ.

Who Is a Senior Adult

All members of First Presbyterian Church 60+ years old are senior adults. We would love to have visitors from the community attend our monthly meetings. It is our desire to be of service to friends and acquaintances in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Senior Adults of First Presbyterian Church meet monthly, except July, usually on the Third Thursday of the month. From time to time we may meet on another day of the month, which is announced well in advance.
